A slice of the Big Apple was served up at the West End's Shaftesbury Theatre this week, when Ian H Watkins, Natalie Casey and the cast of Fame breathed exuberant new life into the perennial musical favourite on the opening night of its current revival. The feelgood fable of kids living out their dreams at New York's School for the Performing Arts played out in kinetic style to an audience whose hearts and legs too, no doubt were well and truly warmed by the dynamism of the energetic ensemble. Theatre.com caught up with the happy kids from Fame after the show at London's Langley's Bar. It was Watkins' birthday too, and as he said, The party's all sorted! Happy Birthday, H!
