"Fame" pela primeira vez em Portugal

Musical com elenco e produção portugueses fica até domingo no Coliseu do Porto.

O Coliseu do Porto recebe de hoje, sexta-feira, até domingo, "Fame", pela primeira vez em Portugal.

Depois do filme e da série de televisão, nos anos 80, a história de dez aspirantes a artistas foi convertida em musical. O sucesso no West End em Londres e na Brodway em Nova Iorque tem já dez anos.

"Fame" chega agora ao nosso país pela mão de um homem com "um sonho". Francisco Santos, o produtor da versão portuguesa, viu há oito anos o musical na capital inglesa e ficou fascinado. "O 'Fame' é um sonho meu de há muitos anos", diz ao JPN. "Primeiro foi proposto fazer a versão original em inglês, mas depois concretizou-se fazer o musical com diálogos em portugês", explica.

Depois de conseguidas as autorizações necessárias junto dos autores do espectáculo, Francisco Santos fez a tradução dos textos para português. As canções vão ser interpretadas em inglês com uma banda e um coro de 10 elementos.

O elenco é composto de 10 actores e de 10 bailarinos que dão corpo aos estudantes da School of Performing Arts de Nova Iorque. Para Sara Lima, no papel de Carmen Diaz e coreógrafa do espectáculo, "é um grande desafio fazer parte do elenco de um espectáculo com tanta história e tanto sucesso e acumular a vertente de actriz, bailarina e coreógrafa".

Por questões de agenda, o musical vai estar apenas três dias no Coliseu do Porto. Já está prevista a ida do espectáculo para Lisboa em Fevereiro e uma digressão por vários teatros durante o ano de 2006.

"Fame" envolve 70 pessoas e esteve três meses em ensaio. Os bilhetes vão desde os 15 euros (geral) aos 40 euros (cadeiras de orquestra).
