Hind Leys Christmas Spectacular - FAME, The Musical!
November 2009

Castle Donington teenagers will star in this year's Christmas Show at Hind Leys Specialist Arts College - FAME, The Musical.

After receiving its specialist arts status in 2008, Hind Leys knew they had to choose a vibrant and fun show for all to enjoy.

The Lord Mayor of Charnwood, Roy Brown will be coming to the performance on Wednesday 9th December at 7.00pm. This is will be his opportunity to see the hard work and dedication that students have put in since in the start of term in September.

Linda Dootson, FAME director and performing arts teacher said: "Every year the students work so hard and put in endless hours to ensure that every show is better than the last. I promise you'll be singing and dancing all the way home."

The show will be brimming with emotional story lines, powerful songs and energetic dance routines. There is even a car on stage for the final ‘Fame' number! Lucky college students who were chosen to be part of the cast include Richard Camp, Craig Nash, Lois Daniels and Katie Dawson in lead roles.

FAME will start on Tuesday 8th December until Saturday 12th December 2009 at Hind Leys theatre. Tickets are £5.50 for children and concessions, £7.50 for adults and all Saturday matinee tickets are £5.50. Tickets are available to buy from Hind Leys reception by calling 01509 504511.
